Sri Handayani or she is well-known as Jeng Sri. Born in Kendal, Central Java, on February 3, 1973. She still inherits the blood of Javanese royalty.
The name "Jeng" in the Javanese English Dictionary by S. Robson & Singgih Wibisono (2002), has the meaning of a nickname that describes the caste of a noblewoman.
Meanwhile, the Kamus Lengkap Jawa – Indonesia or Complete Javanese - Indonesian Dictionary. from Sutrisno Sastro Utomo (2009) also states that “Jeng” can also mean “Kanjeng”, which is a nickname for nobles or noble women.
Starting in 1999, Jeng Sri migrated as a migrant worker in Hong Kong for approximately one year. She tried her luck in another country and was forced to leave her two children in her hometown in Java. She is comfortable working in Hong Kong. Apart from the salary being much higher than what she gets in Indonesia and being able to meet her family's needs, she has also started to adapt to the new environment there.
When Jeng Sri was little, she was very close to her late grandmother, whom she called "Mbah". It could be said that Jeng Sri's life from childhood until her grandmother's lifetime was quite secure and prosperous for the people in her village because her grandmother loved and pampered her beloved granddaughter. However, after her grandmother died, Jeng Sri's life began to change drastically. It was from this point that she began to experience economic difficulties because she did not have a permanent job.
Long story short, due to being exposed to repeated life problems as well as complicated economic difficulties, Jeng Sri finally chose to migrate to another country. When she was in Hong Kong, Jeng Sri was often visited by her late grandmother in dreams and she advised Jeng Sri and asked her to go home and live on a small island called Bali. According to Jeng Sri, it is on this small island that she will find the way of life she is looking for.
When she was in Bali, Jeng Sri wandered alone with minimal supplies. She has done various jobs on this island, such as selling food and working with people in a small laundry. Once again, life's trials seemed to have no end to her even though she had moved to this island which is well-known as heaven on earth.
In 2009, she had an accident and fell from a motorbike, causing her to have a big issue of walking and she was almost frustrated because of this. It was in this year that Jeng Sri began studying and pursuing Acupressure and Qigong because of an invitation from her Balinese friend.
Energy acupressure is a combination of conventional acupressure techniques with "Qigong" often called "Chigong" which emphasizes pressure points by practicing breathing which is focused on the "chi" point or navel or navel chakra.
Since childhood, Jeng Sri could be said to have been very sensitive to feeling the energy and vibrations around her. This natural talent helps her detect patient issues apart from using the standard methods of Acupressure and Qigong.
Finally, in 2010 she had the courage to open an Energy Acupressure practice after graduating from this expertise certification. Gradually, her name began to become known in alternative healing because patients who managed to recover were very happy to recommend her to their friends, family, and relatives through word of mouth.
Jeng Sri is very delighted to find her patients can recover and because of this field, she can meet people from various countries, she can meet and get to know people from various characters, experiences, and social statuses.
